Moved the blog to my new website

Not what I expected...

Hey, everyone!

        So, I went to see Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows Part I today. Wasn't bad. However, I honestly expected a bit more action. The great war was obviously not gonna happen in the first part... but I expected something like a pre-war battle or something. I dunno... maybe it's just me, but for a movie that's 2:27 long... it seemed pretty short. But... oh well, at least there's just one left to go. And finally it will REALLY be epic. :D

          And I gotta say... I AM LOVING THE MacBook Pro!!! :D It has exceeded my old Acer Laptop even though it's below it in technical words. Specs of each:

Acer with Windows Vista Home Premium:

• 320Gb Hard Disc
• 4 Gb Ram - Memory
• Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.00 GHz
• 64-Bit Operating System
• Integrated webcam and mic
• NO bluethoot

MacBook Pro 5, 1 with Snow Leopard 10.6.5:

• 250Gb Hard Disc
• 2 Gb RAM - Memory
• Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 GHz
• 32-Bit Color
• Integrated webcam and mic (But a high definition audio mic and high definition speakers and audio output.)
• NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
• DOES have bluetooth
• Loudest speakers I've ever heard on a laptop!
• Much more functionalities and simplified tasks than Windows
• Although it is 32-bit color display... 10x better graphics and resolution than a Windows

Anywho... My personal experience was with World of Warcraft. In my Windows laptop, with an internet connection of 3Mb... I got an average of about 15 fps (frames per second)... and on the Mac, with the same internet connection... I get an average of 35-45 fps. HUGE difference isn't it? ;]

Almost Done!!

       Guess what?! I'm almost done with my spawn digital drawing! :D Just gotta finish painting it in Photoshop and giving it some shading etc. So... I just woke up, my hair's a mess, and I'm hungry and have no milk at home -_____- worst morning ever.

Hey, everyone!

       Well... second day, second post. Enjoying my first day off from college, since I finished yesterday. Anyways, gotta say, I'm loving this whole blogging thing. It's fun and it's a way to get connected to the world I guess? Or maybe get the world connected to me? God knows. Anywho... So I find myself experimenting with Adobe Illustrator CS3 (I know... I need a serious update! T.T). I passed my "Introduction to computers" and we got a preview of the program, like a basic. You know... Pen Tool, Brush, Shapes...etc. And I decided to digitalize my drawings. (you can see some of them at my Facebook page) I started with a drawing I made of Spawn a long time ago. God! I honestly say he is one of my favorite characters! The whole back from hell thing, and then betraying the devil (Which sounds a lot like Ghost Rider if you ask me xD) Is pretty attractive to me. So I'm starting off simple of course. Just going to do the outlines with Adobe Illustrator and then paint it with Adobe Photoshop. I'll post it after I finish it. Hope it looks good! :]

First Post!

Hey everyone!

     If you're reading this, it's because you took a little piece of your time to notice me. So before I begin, I'd like to thank you for that little time you are giving me. Anywho. First, to introduce myself. As you can see the name is Marcos Román, I'm 18 years old and I'm currently studying Videogame art and design in Atlantic College, Guaynabo. I finished my first trimester today. Pretty happy with my grades. 3 A's and 1 B. Not bad to start. Gotta say. Loving the whole art business! It's definitely my thing ;D

     So what else is there to say? I'm a complete tech-geek and videogame freak. But hey, we all got our own obsessions! ;] So here I am, writing a blog about my life as of this point. Never thought I'd actually do this... But oh well. First time for everything... See ya!
